Ogre-styled landing craft
Putting marines ashore is already rather hard in the modern day, with large ships having to stay many miles offshore to avoid being killed by missiles. Getting the troops to shore demands a vessel that's fast, inconspicuous, and fairly comfortable, to avoid them being sea-sick when they arrive.
The British are trying to develop such a craft for their Royal Marines. Here's an article about one of the designs, and the project as a whole.

Re: Ogre-styled landing craft
Ogre world landing craft would likely be fully submersible to minimize detection, and since even regular infantry battlesuits can swim and Ogres can move under water, maybe the landing craft just ejects their passengers out while the craft is still underwater!
