April 9, 2018: Announcing The 2018 Championship Tournament Series For the Munchkin Collectible Card Game

Are you the best at hiring Monsters, making Mischief, and deploying a well-timed bluff?

It's time to find out. Hitch up your Belt Buckler and pull on your Boots of Butt Kicking: The 2018 Munchkin Collectible Card Game Championship Tournaments are coming.

Fourteen Regional events scattered around the U.S. (plus one in Canada) will feed the 2018 Munchkin Collectible Card Game National Championship Tournament at Gen Con on August 4 and 5. Two additional qualifying events will be held at Gen Con on August 2 and 3. To summarize, there are exactly two ways you can qualify to compete in the National Championship:

1) Place first or second in a Regional Championship Tournament (locations listed below).

2) Place high enough at a Gen Con qualifier (at least the top 4 will qualify, and possibly more).

If you want to prove that you've built the baddest deck and honed the sickest skills, this is the path for you. These constructed deck tournaments give you a chance to have a ton of fun . . . while also bleeding, bluffing, and bludgeoning your way to victory.

And if you want to win the coolest Munchkin Collectible Card Game loot, this is also the path for you. We've already got prizes on tap for the Regional events:

  • The top 16 players at each Regional event will get an exclusive branded token bag.
  • Top 8 will get a poker chip-style Run Away token, and a full set of all six oversized (5.75"x3.5") Hero cards.
  • Top 4 will get an exclusive event playmat.
  • Top 2 will get an acrylic 5.75"x3.5" Hero sleeve, plus seats at the National Championship Tournament.
  • The winner of each event will also get a handcrafted acrylic alternate-art level dial, and a playmat proclaiming them a Champion.

We'll be swagging out the National Championship tournament, too – and the top prize there will include an artist rendering of your likeness being included on a card in the Munchkin Collectible Card Game!

So start planning your path to greatness. Here's information on the Regional Championship Tournaments, which we will update periodically as we add locations and schedule dates:
