Wargames

Follow the links to pages with detailed information about each game.

Ogre/G.E.V. Ogre and its sequel, G.E.V., are tactical ground combat games set in the late 21st century. In 2085 A.D., armored warfare is faster and deadlier than ever. Hovercraft, tanks and infantry slug it out with tactical nukes. But the most feared weapon of all needs no human guidance. It's the giant cybernetic tank called the Ogre.

Now the digital version of the original Ogre Miniatures rules are available from Warehouse 23, with a free Update to bring the classic up to date with the past decades of development.

One-Page Bulge

THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE . . .

A regimental-level game with complete, detailed rules – including weather and Allied air superiority, German supply and isolation, and optional sections for bridge destruction and capture of Allied supplies.

With only one page of rules!

One-Page Bulge started as a challenge. Was it possible to design a good wargame – and keep the rules down to a single 8½" x 11" sheet of paper? Play it and find out. Wargame rules don't have to be long and confusing!

It's a short game – but not a trivial one. One-Page Bulge is challenging . . . fast and playable, but a good representation of the last great German offensive of WWII. Available now in a Pocket Box edition.

Raid on Iran

FREE THE HOSTAGES!

On April 24, 1980, the United States launched a rescue mission to free 53 hostages held captive in Iran. Three helicopters failed on the way. The mission was aborted. What if it had gone in?

Raid on Iran is a simulation of what might have been . . . if the rescue mission had reached Teheran. The American commandos must find and free the embassy hostages – while holding off Iranian mobs and militants – and get them safely to the helicopters.

An alternate scenario examines the possibility that commandos might have tried to abduct the Ayatollah Khomeini himself . . . to exchange him for the hostages! Available now in a Pocket Box edition.

GURPS WWII The GURPS WWII series. These roleplaying sourcebooks contain a great deal of information which could be useful to the dedicated WWII boardgamer or miniatures player.
